Good Shepherd School, Peace River, AlbertaMay 1- June 27, 2024Temporary Elementary Generalist Good Shepherd School is recruiting for a Temporary full-time position for Elementary Generalist Teacher starting May 1- June 27, 2024. The assignment will include the following subject areas - English Language Arts Grades 3, 4, 5, 6; and Literacy Supports.The ideal candidate will be an Elementary Generalist. The assignment will include teaching all subject areas in the Elementary Program of Studies and potentially other assignments in the K-6 environment aligned with the candidate's skill set. The successful candidate ideally will have knowledge and experience with literacy, numeracy, Indigenous students, and the social and emotional development and mental health of children. The successful candidate requires proficiency in the use of educational technology, and an understanding of assessment for learning, and is eligible to teach in the Province of Alberta.The candidate must be willing to work in a rural Catholic community environment, be a team player, and collaborate, communicate, and work together.
