Duties:
· Trauma informed supports and referrals
· Traditional supports
· Provide information on federal programs and services offered in response to The Residential Schools Missing Children Community Support Project is to support Indigenous partners and communities in designing and implementing community-led and Survivor-focused initiatives.
· Provide Cultural appropriate responses to emotional crisis support.
· Interview families and survivors impacted and memorialize burial sites of Georgina Island’s children associated with former residential schools, and honour families.
Qualifications:
· Certificate or University Degree in Social Service/Social Work sector or acceptable equivalent combination of education, knowledge, and experience
· Direct experience working with Indigenous families and familiar with cultural-based services, social work, or in crisis intervention, child welfare, justice or other health settings.
· Minimum of 5 years’ experience with case management
· Awareness of Health and Wellness issues pertaining to Indigenous People

Salary: $18.61-$28.55 per hour
