Noetic is primarily focused on the performance of tubular systems and related equipment through the lifecycle of a well and works with industry leaders to address some of the most challenging questions being encountered in the energy industry.

Your role with us:

The Engineer-in-Training is primarily focused on the performance of tubular systems and related equipment through the lifecycle of a well. The Engineer-in-Training will contribute to external consulting projects and internal technology, product development, and other initiatives.

You will bring to the role:

• Bachelor’s or Graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Registered Engineer-in-Training in the province of Alberta.
• Experience with well construction operations, numerical or finite element analysis, laboratory testing, computerized data acquisition systems, software development, data science, or related fields.
• Experience in drilling engineering is an asset.
• Experience working in a technical capacity, strong scientific curiosity and learning capability, and enthusiasm in exploring challenging engineering problems and new initiatives.
• Strong interpersonal and teambuilding skills, including excellent service to internal and external customers.
• Ability to work well independently while drawing on the experience and technical expertise of our entire team.
