With this vision and framework in mind, our Natural Gas Division is seeking Engineers to help transform our Utility industry. You will have the opportunity to deliver a variety of pipeline and facility projects to build a more resilient, sustainable, and affordable natural gas pipeline system for the communities we serve.

We have a number of Engineer positions available in various locations across the province in the following engineering groups:
- Construction Survey
- Contract Construction
- Field Engineering Services (In-Service Welding & Hot Tapping, Quality Assurance)
- Operations Engineering
Incumbents will be responsible for Field Work of a portfolio of natural gas pipeline, piping, or facility projects.
Responsibilities:
Project Management
- Efficiently manage multiple projects for the construction, operation and maintenance of natural gas pipelines and facilities, ensuring coordination, resource optimization and timely project delivery.
- Utilize project management methodologies and tools to develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets. Lead and oversee the entire project lifecycle for the project from initiation to completion.
- Communicate and coordinate with various stakeholders including internal teams (engineering, land, construction, operations, procurement, etc.) and external partners (consultants, contractors, vendors, etc.).
- Contribute to the scope development and evaluation of projects during initiation.
- Ensure compliance with our company project management processes.
- Uphold a commitment to quality and safety throughout the project lifecycle.
Engineering
- Focus on direct support to construction and operations.
- Responsible for project specific conceptual and detailed technical design, primarily in the areas of pipeline, piping, facilities, or integrity engineering.
- Ensure compliance with code and company specifications, material and equipment specifications, optimization of design for operations and construction, job plan development, and any associated engineering calculations.
- Develop and improve technical company specifications or processes.
- Act as technical resource to provide support to various internal groups.
- Complete engineering assessments.
- Manage various capital or operational programs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering.
- EIT or P.Eng. designation with APEGA, or eligible to acquire.
- Class 5 driver’s license.
- Experience in project management, construction, and operations of distribution projects, or other related industries) is an asset.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Excellent time management, problem solving, decision making, organization and planning skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Energetic and enthusiastic.
- Highest level of integrity and ethics.
