Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in English, Education or related field; OCT certification preferred for teaching roles
- Experience with online teaching and familiarity with Learning Management Systems and online meeting software (Ex: Zoom)
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling, managing communications and handling technical issues related to the online platform
- Support the teaching staff in the operation of online classes and ensure a smooth educational experience for both teachers and students
Responsibilities:
As an English Teacher:
- develop and deliver engaging English lessons that alight with the Ontario Secondary School Diploma curriculum
- Utilize various online platform to create interactive and dynamic learning experiences
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to support their academic growth
- stay updated on pedagogical strategies and incorporate them into teaching practices
As an Office Administrator:
- Assist in developing and maintaining the online teaching platform
- organize digital school materials and provide support in creating educational content
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling, managing communications and handling technical issues related to the online platform
- Support the teaching staff in the operation of online classes and ensure a smooth educational experience for both teachers and students
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Salary: $35.00-$40.00 per hour
