Your responsibilities will include:
  • Conduct environmental studies.
  • Implement eco-friendly processes.
  • Ensure compliance with standards and certifications.
  • Design alternative products to harmful chemicals.
  • Preserve air and environmental quality in urban areas.
  • Collaborate with agronomists, biologists, and specialists in physical sciences.
  • Evaluate the acceptability of a project (industrial, municipal, mining, water-related, natural) with environmental impact.
  • Analyze processes, plans, and specifications to assess major projects subject to environmental impact assessment and review procedures.
What we're looking for:
  • University degree in Environmental Engineering or a related field;
  • Proven experience in a quality engineer role within a manufacturing environment;
  • Excellent understanding of quality management systems and regulatory requirements;
  • Membership in the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec;
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in the manufacturing sector (an asset);
  • Demonstrate perseverance, rigor, curiosity, initiative, and autonomy;
  • Have a strong sense of priorities, be methodical and structured;
  • Possess aptitudes for teamwork with multidisciplinary groups;
