Your responsibilities will include:
- Conduct environmental studies.
- Implement eco-friendly processes.
- Ensure compliance with standards and certifications.
- Design alternative products to harmful chemicals.
- Preserve air and environmental quality in urban areas.
- Collaborate with agronomists, biologists, and specialists in physical sciences.
- Evaluate the acceptability of a project (industrial, municipal, mining, water-related, natural) with environmental impact.
- Analyze processes, plans, and specifications to assess major projects subject to environmental impact assessment and review procedures.
- University degree in Environmental Engineering or a related field;
- Proven experience in a quality engineer role within a manufacturing environment;
- Excellent understanding of quality management systems and regulatory requirements;
- Membership in the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec;
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in the manufacturing sector (an asset);
- Demonstrate perseverance, rigor, curiosity, initiative, and autonomy;
- Have a strong sense of priorities, be methodical and structured;
- Possess aptitudes for teamwork with multidisciplinary groups;
