Equipment Operator

Applicator - Seasonal and / or Permanent
Brussels Agromart Ltd is a full-service crop input provider located in Brussels, in Huron
County. We are seeking motivated individuals to join our Applicator Team. Full
Time Permanent and Full Time Seasonal positions are available. As an integral part of the business you will operate one of our state of the art sprayers equipped with current application and GPS technologies. We use brands including New Holland, Miller, Raven, etc. All necessary training will be provided with ongoing opportunity for growth. Core Responsibilities:

• Operation of heavy application equipment to apply crop protection products (herbicides / fungicides) to farmers' fields
• Perform basic repairs and servicing of application equipment and other related machinery
• Deliver products to various customer locations
• Interact with customers in a courteous and professional manner, both on site at the business and in the field
• General help around the company facility

The Successful Candidate Will Possess or be Willing to Obtain:

• Class G Driver's Licence
• Ontario Pesticide Applicator's License
• Ability to solve basic mathematical equations using addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
• A dependable and customer service oriented attitude
• Willingness to work extended hours and weekends during peak times of year (April to June)

Assets Include:

• AZ or DZ Driver's Licence (but not a requirement)
• Farm or heavy equipment operation experience
• Basic knowledge of fertilizer and pesticides
