SalarySCOTLAND AGROMART LTD. is a leading full service agricultural crop input supplier, covering a diverse range of field and horticultural crops in Brant, Haldimand and Norfolk Counties. Due to an increase in the demand for our custom application services, we are currently seeking an Agricultural Equipment Applicator to join our team.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Operate custom application equipment (self-propelled sprayer)
- Maintain machinery when not in use
- Provide assistance to operations, sales and agronomy staff as needed
- Additional responsibilities will depend on individual skill set
Job Requirements (Skills & Qualifications):
- Experience using agricultural machinery and equipment required (auto-steer, variable rate applicators, etc)
- Mechanical skills and shop experience preferred
- Knowledge of local geography an asset
- Valid Ontario G class license required, A-Z or D-Z license an asset
- Must be a team-player and work well with others
- Enjoys working outdoors, willing to work in variable weather conditions and for extended hours
Contract Information:
Full Time
Job Start Date: ASAP
Overtime work expected during peak season in spring and fall
Hourly wage dependent upon experience
