Position Summary:

The Estimator provides estimating support to the region. He/She will work closely with the Program Performance Manager & Project Managers to produce estimates quickly and accurately based on information provided to them from First Onsite branches. The Estimator will participate as a team contributor by knowing the required insurance companies, independent adjusters and First Onsite accounts, and will work effectively with team members to ensure that service levels are met and adhered to when preparing estimates and reports. They will contribute to timely project completion through effective and knowledgeable application of the ClaimTrak, Xactimate, Microsoft Office software applications and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Estimates and uploads completed estimates based on documentation in Claimtrak, i.e. Scope, photos, departmental notes, PM meetings. Review Emergency and repair to ensure compliance to client program.
• Maintains job log of estimates completed daily, with tracking NED totals and line items, pre and post revisions made.
• Maintains detailed lists of Service Level Agreement requirements for estimates
• Follows and leads by example all First Onsite health and safety policies and procedures are followed for all First Onsite personnel and sub-contractors.
• Works closely and provides feedback to Project Manager(s) on methods of improving estimates
• Monitor on a daily basis for estimate approvals within Xactanalysis. Follows up with review team on all overdue reviews to expedite.
• Responds and delegates all notes from Xactanalysis to responsible team. (ie.FM/PM team)
• Monitors jobs with no estimate uploaded to ensure KPI time frame is met.
• Uploads all documentation necessary related to Xactimate file; this includes sub bid items, photo documentation to support estimate, (pre and post demo on EM's), testing results, moisture readings; if documentation is not already present.
• Provide feedback to Office Manager, Program Performance of any estimating changes with programs, insufficient line items, etc.

Qualifications & Experience:

• College Diploma or certification; or combination of relevant training courses in related fields and relevant experience may be acceptable in lieu of the academic requirements.
• Computer skills required effectively use Word, Excel, Outlook,
• Typing skills min. 40WPM
• Knowledge of XactAnalysis, Xactimate & ClaimTrak considered an asset
• Strong verbal and written communications skills.
• Strong administration and record keeping skills.
• Basic accounting / business math skills.
• Bilingual in both French and English
