Job Title: Event Assistant
Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Junior Event Assistant. This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in event coordination and management within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The Junior Event Assistant will work closely with our event planning team to execute successful events that meet and exceed client expectations.
Responsibilities:
Assist in Event Planning: Support the event planning team in coordinating all aspects of event logistics, including venue selection, vendor management, and budget tracking.
Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance such as scheduling meetings, preparing materials, and maintaining event documentation.
On-Site Event Support: Assist with on-site event setup, including arranging decorations, signage, and audio-visual equipment.
Vendor Coordination: Communicate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of services and resolve any issues that may arise during the planning or execution of events.
Post-Event Evaluation: Assist in gathering feedback from clients and attendees to evaluate event success and identify areas for improvement.
Marketing Support: Collaborate with the marketing team to promote events through various channels, including social media, email campaigns, and promotional materials.
Other Duties as Assigned: Support the event planning team with any additional tasks or projects as needed.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma required; bachelor's degree in hospitality management, event planning, or related field preferred.
Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, vendors, and team members.
Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in all event-related tasks.
