Excavator Operator - Earthworks

At Kidco Construction, we are building Calgary from the ground down.

We are looking for safety conscious and skilled EXCAVATOR OPERATORS to join our Earthworks Division for the 2023 season!

Our ideal candidate:

• Has 3-5 years of experience operating an excavator or similar equipment
• Can operate 1200s, 870s, 385s, 345s and more
• Is reliable, punctual, and takes pride in their work
• Is capable of some physically demanding tasks such as bending, crouching, lifting, etc.
• Works well in team setting and is a team player
• Safety certifications are an asset (Ground Disturbance Level 2 Certification)
• Has reliable transportation and valid class 5 driver’s license

Typical Schedule:

• Monday - Friday: 7 AM - 6 PM
• Saturday: 7 AM - 4 PM
• Sundays and long weekends off (or on volunteer basis for those who want the hours)
