Location: Remote – northern Saskatchewan

Job type: Permanent, full-time (minimum 30 hrs a week)

Wage: $40.00/hr

The Opportunity:

Terralogic Exploration is seeking a Geologist who will join our technical team to help advance a variety of mineral exploration projects located in the northern Saskatchewan throughout the 2024/2025 field seasons. Under the supervision of a Project Geologist, the successful candidate will participate in all aspects of executing mineral exploration programs.

Key Responsibilities:

The primary responsibilities of this position include assisting with the planning and execution of a variety of exploration activities, including data collection. Data collection on programs may include mapping, prospecting, geochemical surveys, geophysical surveys, trenching and surface drilling. Other responsibilities will also include supervising sub-contractors and junior geologists in the field and core-shack and assisting with data QAQC and technical report writing.

Qualifications:

· B.Sc. in Geology

· 3-5 years experience in the mineral exploration industry

· Canadian resident

· Valid Canadian drivers license

· Registered Geoscientist-in-Training with Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia

· British Columbia Mines Supervisor certified

· First Aid – CPR/AED and Transportation Endorsement certified

· Proficiency in MS Office (including Access Database) and GIS software

· Perform well in a dynamic environment while adhering to health, safety and environmental policies

· Capable of physically demanding work in outdoor environments

· Ability to travel extensively for periods of up to 4 weeks

· Ability to pass drug and alcohol test required for mine site access

· Adaptability in working in small remote camps

· Strong written and oral communication skills in English

The ideal candidate will have:

· Drill management experience: (skid and helicopter-supported) diamond drills

· Core-shack management and core-logging experience

· Geological mapping and prospecting experience

· Proficient in Leapfrog Geo, QGIS and ArcGIS, MX Deposit, and Access database (analysis and interpretation of data)

· Experience in piezometer installation

· Experience in technical report writing

· Strong problem-solving skills

· Strong leadership potential

· Motivated best when working with a team or group dynamic
