about this team
The Retail Facilities team is responsible for the luxury care and upkeep of our retail store spaces in the North America market. We respond quickly to incoming repair requests, while we implement strategies to get ahead of and prepare for tomorrow’s requests. This is a team of agile problem solvers, who are able to pivot quickly, and thrive in uncertain environments. We work hard, and we get things done.


a day in the life: what you’ll do
Reporting to the Facilities Manager, the Facilities Specialist is responsible leveraging their repairs & maintenance experience to support our stores within their assigned Areas and maintain them to a luxury condition. This role is responsible for the efficient execution of emergency and non-emergency repairs and service calls within established budgets and timeline. 
  • Respond to, and field all repair & maintenance requests from stores 
  • Analyze proposals to ensure cost and scope meets the needed scope of repair
  • Use previous experience and mechanical aptitude to validate troubleshooting and diagnoses performed by on-site technicians 
  • Ensure repair timeline SLAs are met
  • Execute store maintenance programs per established frequencies and scopes of work
  • Compile and submit weekly invoices
  • Diagnose utility account concerns, liaising between construction, our bill pay provider, and utility providers

qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in facilities maintenance
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Agile and able to prioritize and re-prioritize daily or throughout the day as needs change 
  • Basic knowledge in systems such as HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing
  • Working knowledge of retail environment
  • Proficient in MS Office and Excel, Smartsheet, PowerPoint

Compensation and Benefits Package 
lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $66,000-$86,600 CAD annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.

This role is classified as hybrid under our SSC Workplace Policy:  

In-person collaboration is important, and much of the role can be performed remotely. Work is performed onsite at least 3 days per week.
