JOB TITLE: Family Literacy Instructor
LOCATION: Brantford, ON

Grand Erie’s 2800 employees provide quality education to approximately 26,000 full-time equivalent students who attend our 72 schools. The Board spans a geographic area encompassing the City of Brantford and the Counties of Brant, Haldimand and Norfolk. The head office is located in Brantford. The Board is currently seeking a Part-time Family Literacy Instructor to join our team.
Responsibilities
  • Run in partnership with the Norfolk Help Centre
  • Supporting adults who are working on courses to get their high school diploma

Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience working with students of diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Experience with alternative education.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills, the ability to motivate and the ability to work independently.
Job Specifications

Hours of Work
10 a.m. to 2p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday

Rate of Pay
$24.52 per hour (includes vacation pay)
