Family Services Worker

Position Duties:

Mentoring: Developing a rapport with individuals in need, expanding on their interest through the provision of opportunities throughout the community.

Respite: Provide temporary care for youth in the community with the goal of enhancing familial relationships.

Support: Provide transportation, to and from appointments or school as needed in order to effectively create a consistent and healthy routine.

Intervention services: Provision of non-judgemental, trauma informed and culture friendly supports to provide families the guidance needed through conflict resolution, building healthier relationships and positive outcomes to challenges that arise within the family dynamic.

Experience and education (Preference given but not required):

- Nursing

- Support Worker

- Home care

- Personal care aid

- Human services

- First Aid/CPR

- NVCI

- ASIST

- Valid New Brunswick drivers license and insurance required

- Must be able to work with/around pets i.e., dogs and cats
