Bridgeway Support Services, a division of Bridgeway Family Homes, is seeking highly skilled Child and Youth Workers to support families, children and youth who are experiencing a range of social, emotional, behavioral, and academic challenges through a goal-focused service. You will be part of a team and your role will be providing services in the client’s home and in the community.
We are looking for individuals to provide services between 15 - 25 hours per week with a typical part-time schedule that includes providing services during the week between 3:00 pm - 9:00 pm and some weekend sessions. As previously stated, this is a part-time role and schedules are based on our client’s needs.
Responsibilities:
- Development of goal-focused activities
- Implementation of programs
- Behavior Management
- Case notes
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Child and Youth Work or related Social Service Diploma or Degree
- Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills
- Excellent Organizational, Administrative and Report-Writing Skills
- Knowledge of FASD, ODD, Autism, ADHD, Anxiety Disorders and other diagnosis are beneficial
- Current Crisis Intervention Certification (i.e. UMAB) with experience in crisis de-escalation is required
- Current CPR/First Aid is required

- Current Police Check with Vulnerable Sector Check and Child Welfare Record Check
