FULL-TIME Seasonal EMPLOYMENT
We are hiring 4 seasonal positions, in Niagara on the Lake ON.
- We are seeking workers who are ALREADY in Canada and must be able to interview and begin FULL TIME work within 10 days.
Our ideal applicant has experience working on a farm and is comfortable working in all types of weather. This person is a team player and performs with attention to detail.
Responsibilities
· General Farm/Nursery labour: dig trees, grade and organize trees; assemble tree orders for individual customers, and prepare orders for shipping; plant seed, weed, transplant and prune shrubs and small trees, move containerized plants using wheelbarrows or tractors, and other nursery/farm jobs.
· keep work area clean and organized
· must be able to think critically, be reliable and responsible, and work independently.
Minimum Qualifications (required)
· Positive attitude and strong work ethic
· Must be able to work occasional Saturdays
Additional Qualifications
- Farm experience is helpful, but not required
- Reading tree labels and reading order forms is important.

Must have reliable transportation... bussing and carpooling is not available.
Wage starts at $17.35, but applicants with relevant experience will be offered higher compensation.
Some weekend hours are required, but generally Monday – Friday 8-5 with 40 hour weeks.
Seasonal starting approximately March 22 and generally the season is over by mid June.
