JOB DESCRIPTION:
The purpose of a Field Service Technician at Sky Eye is to provide exceptional service and maintenance of the units and products we deliver to our clients. A Field Service Technician is key in maintaining effective and innovative products for our clients. From device install and calibration to full package commissioning, our team of certified Instrument Technicians and Journeymen Electricians install and service all our solutions.

The Field Service Technician will work alongside our Operations, Field Services, Electrical and Instrumentation teams. Sky Eye’s Field Service Technicians primarily operate in industrial field-based environments and will require extensive travel. The ability to think critically about each problem presented in the field is paramount to being successful in this position.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide Truck offload Metering Package Set Up and Commissioning and Consulting

• Configuration of flow computers
• Calibration and set-up of measurement and safety devices
• Water cut calibration and verification services
• Proving services with a variety of Master Meter provers and Ball Provers with on-board flow computers

Provide Transloader Metering Packages Set Up and Commissioning and Consulting

• Configuration and diagnostics of flow computers
• Configuration and testing of VFD’s
• Pipe fabrication and installations
• Water-cut calibration and verification services
• PLC troubleshooting and diagnostics
• Safety device testing

Provide Red Eye Set Up, Commissioning and Calibration

• Installation and best set up recommendations
• Calibration and verification services
• Software upgrades
• Component replacement

Provide Coriolis and NOC Set Up and Commissioning

• Coriolis meter set up and diagnostics
• NOC set up and testing
• NOC density inferred water-cut calibration services

Provide bench proving of all Varieties of Flow Meters

Technical Support

• Works very closely with Field Services Manager, taking parts related calls.
• Develops and maintains relationships with new and repeat parts customers.
• Educate Sky Eye customers on how our parts products can benefit them financially and operationally.
• Monitors and know Sky Eye's industry competitors, and competing new products, pricing, and market conditions to understand our customer's specific needs.
• Acts as an ambassador of Sky Eye both as inside sales and a technical resource for customers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Certified Journeyman Electrician: Masters, Instrumentation Technician, or Journeyman Mechanic would be an asset.
• Over 2-5 years of Journeyman field experience is required.
