The Field Trainer, Fracturing will be a member of the Fracturing Department responsible for ensuring field safety compliance, supervision, and mentorship related to the Fracturing Service Line. Reporting to the Manager, Fracturing the Field Trainer, Fracturing will focus on providing training and guidance for all Fracturing employees and equipment while adhering to Calfrac's operational, safety and environmental policies and procedures at all times.
SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Operate, maintain, and train operators on all Fracturing units
- Prevent accidents and other incidents from occurring using extensive field knowledge
- Flexible with day-to-day Fracturing operations and may be required to operate Fracturing units when there are manpower shortages
- Provide effective communication on crew, equipment, and job related information to management in the District regarding improvements and training initiatives
- Provide support and guidance for field operators on Fracturing job tasks
- Assist with field training of Fracturing operators
- Ensure field employees' adherence to operational policies and procedures to achieve safety objectives
- Maintain all required safety and legislated certifications and courses
- Excellent interpersonal, relationship-building, and verbal and written communication skills - must be able to interact effectively and work comfortably with customer, field, branch, head office staff and senior management
- Strong leadership, mentoring and delegation skills
- Flexible to work a variety of shifts (shift work, day shift, night shift)

- High school Diploma or GED preferred
- Valid Class 1 Drivers License or equivalent required
- Satisfactory Drivers Abstract required
- 3 - 5 years oil/gas industry experience preferred
- Coiled Tubing knowledge is considered an asset
- Thorough knowledge of Fracturing operations fundamentals required
