The Finance Clerk - Accounting and Purchasing is responsible for performing various tasks to support the Accounting and Purchasing roles for the Financial Services Department. The Finance Clerk-Accounting and Purchasing will work as part of a team and utilize SAP to perform accurate balancing processes, perform purchasing card duties and produce the necessary reports and reconciliations required to support the efficient operation of the Financial Services Department. Working collaboratively within the Department, the Finance Clerk - Accounting and Purchasing reports directly to the Supervisor, Accounting and Purchasing

Qualifications:

(a) Recognized business diploma or the equivalent obtained through training and experience;

(b) Minimum two (2) years' experience in an Accounting and Purchasing environment including the operation of an advanced accounting system, spreadsheets, word processing and the Internet;

(c) Experience with SAP considered an asset.

Rate of Pay: This is an NSGEU (Nova Scotia Government and General Employees Union) position with an hourly rate of $24.49
