Job Summary: Broan-NuTone has a temporary opportunity available to work in the Finance department. This is a great opportunity for a student seeking business experience and to gain knowledge of how a Finance department operates. This role will provide support to the Shared Services & Cash team. The ideal candidate will be highly organized and detail-oriented with intermediate computer & Excel skills.
Job Responsibilities:

• Execute on precise and on-time Cash Application for AR accounts.
• Emailing customer debit/credit items. Ensure proper control and documentation. This includes sending follow up requests for open debit/credits.
• Manage & execute the monthly statement process.
• Write up credit requests for short shipments. Route credit requests to the next authority level which will include credit request along with invoice copy, packing list, and proof of delivery.
• Answer customer emails found in the Broan credit folder, sending invoice copies, proof of deliveries, or forwarding to correct collection specialist.
• Notifying customers of aged items and following up to collect or clear as appropriate.
• Collection of small past due accounts under the direction of the collection specialists.
• Processing invoices and researching discrepancies within Accounts Payable.
• Supporting customer (both internal & external) inquiries / requests.
• Pulling data for analysis or reporting within overall Shared Services & Cash.
• Miscellaneous projects under the direction of the AR/AP Managers and Shared Services Director.

Job Requirements:

• In school status pursuing a major in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum 2 years of prior work experience
• Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) with willingness to learn advanced applications
• Quick learner with the ability to follow processes to complete tasks without errors
• Ability to effectively communicate with team members to provide status of tasks, methods used to complete such tasks, and identify problems as they arise
• Effective analytical and problem solving skills
• Bilingual in English and French preferred

• Able to operate effectively in an office environment.
