Financial Controller

Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join our team. As a Financial Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the company, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations. This is a key leadership role within the organization, requiring strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department
- Perform account reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations
- Monitor and manage cash flow, including forecasting and budgeting
- Oversee payroll processing and ensure timely payment of employees
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Conduct regular account analysis to identify variances or discrepancies
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in financial management

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification is preferred
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero or QuickBooks
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Solid understanding of budgeting and financial forecasting
- Ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop a team

Salary: $61,151.99-$121,876.54 per year
