Description
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee management of the accounting operations including AR, AP and payroll providing day-to-day leadership of the finance and administration team members.
Participate in the design, completion, and present the financial and operational reports as a member of the management team;
Support and develop the accounting and administrative members as an effective and productive team;
Streamline processes and procedures for improving operational efficiency of financial reporting and production activity;
Provide financial analysis on costing, budgeting and forecasting, capital spending and investment opportunities as they arise.
Lead the year-end and external audit process with members of the finance and administration team.
Qualifications and Education:
CPA designation (CA, CMA, CGA)
5+ years relevant accounting experience.
Experience in construction or manufacturing industries.
Advanced job costing knowledge.
Personable and a team player.
Ability to handle multiple assignments, work independently and selfmanage.
Good organizational skills and detail oriented.
Ability to work effectively under pressure.
