Fine Dining Server

Job Summary

As a food and beverage server at the Ranchmen’s Club you would be providing members and their guests with excellent food and beverage service in the Ranchmen’s Club’s dining and banqueting areas.

Duties & Responsibilities

· Ensure prompt, efficient and friendly service for private members

· Review function sheets for upcoming daily events.

· Communicate orders with other staff to ensure prompt delivery of food and beverages to the members.

· Ensure that all food and beverages are correctly entered into the Jonas point of sale system.

· Work as part of a team to serve the members.

· Setting tables for either banquets or in the dining areas.

· Cleaning and polishing of cutlery, glassware and other items as assigned.

· Ensuring that rooms are ready before guests arrive for their events.

Requirements

· Must have valid Proserve certification

· Fine dining or banquet serving experience is an asset.

· Bartending experience is an asset.

· Must be personable and presentable.

· Excellent communication and organizational skills.

· Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities.

· Highly responsible & reliable.

· Must be self-directed and self-motivated.

· Must be able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

· Must be a team player with a positive attitude.

· Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.

· May be required to work overtime during peak periods and to accommodate Member's special requests.

Qualifications and Skills

We are searching for mature individuals with banquet or high-end restaurant experience to join us in our beautiful Beltline facility to help provide our members with an experience fit for the private club of choice. The successful candidate will be an energetic, enthusiastic person with a professional manner and a willingness to improve existing skills and learn new ones.

A very competitive base salary depending on experience includes gratuities which are automatically paid on an hourly basis. Ranchmen's offers a good benefits package to all full and part time staff who qualify.
