Fire Sprinkler Fitter

We are looking for a Fire Sprinkler journeyman that can grow with us and our expanding Fire Sprinkler division. A K Brown’s Fire Sprinkler division designs, installs, inspects and services Fire Sprinklers on a variety of systems.

Responsibilities:

· Inspections on wet, dry, and suppression systems

· Annual and weekly fire pump runs and repairs

· Troubleshoot and repair sprinkler deficiencies

· Plan and execute small jobs in a time and cost-effective manner

· Work alone or with an apprentice under minimal supervision

· Fill out and submit reports by end of job

· Knowledge of sprinkler code and standata

· Join our on call rotation

· Excellent communication with customers and keen eye for detail

Qualifications:

· Extensive experience running small project alone or with a helper

· Experience in 5-year, 3-year, annual, semi annual, and quarterly inspections

· Extensive experience in wet, dry, and suppression systems

· Extensive experience with fire pumps and backflows

· Service and trouble shooting experience

· Excellent former employer references

· Drivers License and clean abstract

· Computer literate and knowledge of Microsoft excel, outlook, and word

· Experience in fire protection in hazardous areas would be considered an asset

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $50.00-$55.00 per hour
