Fleet Utilization Supervisor

We are seeking a results-driven and experienced professional to join team and take charge of optimizing trailer and truck utilization to streamline operations and maximize efficiency. As a Fleet Utilization Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in coordinating the movement of trailers, ensuring they are utilized to their fullest potential.

Responsibilities:

• Strategically plan and allocate trailers to meet transportation demands.
• Monitor trailer usage and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with dispatchers, drivers, and warehouse personnel to optimize trailer utilization.
• Implement innovative solutions to minimize empty trailer movements and reduce costs.
• Analyze data and generate reports to track performance metrics and identify trends.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with carriers and vendors.
• Review monthly truck mileage and utilization.
• Review Unit downtime and analyze ways to improve.
• Review Idle trailers at customers.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in logistics or transportation management.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and effectively prioritize tasks.
