JOB TITLE: FLIGHT OPERATIONS CLERK
LOCATION: YQT- Thunder Bay
STATUS: Full-time
DEPARTMENT: Flight Operations
SHIFT: Monday to Friday
REPORTS TO: Director of Flight Operations
Job Summary
The Flight Operation Clerk is a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who will perform a variety of administrative tasks which support the Flight Operations Department, including but not limited to supporting flight and cabin crew travel coordination related to training and positioning, supporting flight crew and cabin crew payroll processing, and supporting flight crew and cabin crew uniform supply ordering and issuing.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with scheduling and booking of travel related to pilot and flight attendant training and positioning as required.
- Support and assist with the preparation of financial documents for pilot and flight attendant pay processing as required.
- Support the coordination of ordering and tracking of pilot and flight attendant uniforms.
- Update Flight Crew and Cabin Crew phone list and contact list.
- Other Flight Operations related duties as assigned by the Director of Flight Operations, Chief Pilots, and Assistant Chief Pilots, Flight Ops Administrator and Flight Attendant Manager as required.
- Utilize company issued software platforms as required.
- Foster a healthy working environment and promote a positive climate within the workplace.

- external customers.
- Any other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Skills and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years’ experience or an equivalent combination of related post-secondary education or experience in administration
- Must be professional, discrete and understand the importance of confidentiality.
- Strong problem identification and objection resolution skills
- Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
- High level of integrity and work ethic
- Maintain a professional appearance, demeanor, and attitude at all times.
- Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment.
- Strong attention to detail in all areas of work
- Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times.
- Excellent computer skills, MS-Office preferable and proficient in use of internet and email
- Able to work well under pressure and meet set deadlines.
Working Conditions
- Overtime as required.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift or move up to 20lbs.
- Manual dexterity is required to use desktop computer.
