Fluid Power Csr / Inside Sales

In this role, you will provide our customers with expert assistance to a wide variety of questions and problems. Unlike most CSR roles, you will build ongoing business relationships with our customers through repeated contact and consultation. As this is a service and parts center, our ability to get customers’ business often depends on your ability to quickly and efficiently provide them with the right parts and/or solutions – especially when customers are experiencing costly equipment breakdowns. You will also have duties that will require mechanical aptitude and a technical problem-solving approach.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
-Inside Sales responsibilities
-Analysis and selection of Fluid Power system components, products, and vendors into new and existing systems
-Directly engaged in all sales activities
-Build ongoing relationships with customers
-Assisting with sourcing difficult to find products, and helping improve lead times
-Providing support to the outside sales force
-Ensuring accurate, timely order processing through the computerized order processing system
-Maintain up to date knowledge of company’s product and service offerings
-Take personal responsibility for maintaining training requirements and professional development
-Maintain high regard for safety and housekeeping
-Perform other duties as assigned
 
Preference will be given to candidates who possess the following qualifications:
-3-5 years of relevant experiencd within the Fluid Power industry
-Proven mechanical background
-Technical Degree, Diploma or Certificate is preferred but not required
-Customer service focused; ability to build relationships with internal and external customers
-Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
-Able to work in a team environment and utilize all available resources
-Excellent organization skills
-Self-motivated, ability to work with limited direct supervision
-Basic computer skills in – Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.
-SAP experience would be an asset
