The Food, Beverage & Events Manager is a key, full time year round position of the Golf Course management team. Reporting directly the the General Manager, the expectation of the position is to ensure year round exceptional service, memorable events and great customer service.

Responsibilities:
- Develop, manage and monitor the F&B budget providing monthly forecasts and variance reports.
-Recruitment, training, mentoring and evaluating all F&B staff, both seasonal and permanent.
-Develop and market creative strategies to increase revenues, and alternative usage options for the facility during the golf off season.
-Day-to- day management of labor, both in FOH and kitchen.
-Direct liaison for all club events, weddings and tournaments (including event recruitment and retention) with respect to the F&B side of event.
-Development of all F&B In House policies
- Develop and implement budgets and financial forecasts for monthly Board meetings
- Maintain inventory levels and control costs in both kitchen and FOH
-Scheduling for entire department. Including payroll submission
-Work along Head Chef (including weekly meetings) to ensure events are operated smoothly and cost effective
-Assist the Head Chef in ensuring that menu creation, costing, pricing and updates are done in a timely and effective manner
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction for events and tournaments
- Train, supervise, and evaluate staff members
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Communicate effectively with guests, staff, and management
-Ensure property, facilities and equipment remain in good order and appearance
Requirements:
-5+ Years of restaurant management experience required
- 2+ Years of event coordination required
-Experience in menu costing as well as food and liquor ordering considered an asset
-Knowledge of the Golf industry considered an asset.
-Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines and manage a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food and beverage market trends and industry best practices
- Budgeting skills to effectively manage financial resources
- Strong communication skills to interact with guests, staff, and management
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $55,000.00-$70,000.00 per year

Experience:
