Requirements
- Previous experience in restaurant operations is essential. On-the-job training will be provided to enhance your skills.
- Possess a level of physical strength and manual dexterity required for the role.
- Demonstrate an understanding of complex situations, attention to detail, and adaptability to change.
- Essential interpersonal skills, adept at meeting people, collaborating effectively, and demonstrating teamwork.
- Excellent verbal communication and listening skills are a must.
- Maintain good personal grooming, exude confidence, uphold integrity, and exhibit the ability to manage stress.
- Work in varied conditions, adapting to indoor or outdoor settings based on daily shift schedules. Be prepared for diverse weather conditions.
- Flexibility in scheduling, including availability for days, evenings, and weekends.
- Hold a valid Serving it Right Certificate.
Duties
- Warmly greet and seat customers, creating a positive initial impression.
- Take, confirm orders, and efficiently communicate with kitchen or bar staff.
- Serve food and beverages with precision and care.
- Handle busing, cleaning, and resetting of tables to maintain an inviting dining atmosphere.
- Process to-go orders promptly and accurately.
- Engage in prep or side work to contribute to the overall restaurant operations.
- Prepare bills accurately and efficiently process payments.
- Fulfill cleaning duties such as stocking, sanitizing, sweeping floors, and washing dishes.
- Reconcile daily cash transactions with meticulous attention.
