Food & Beverage Supervisor

Malahat SkyWalk is currently looking to add a Food & Beverage Supervisor to our growing team. This role provides an exciting opportunity to contribute to a small and growing tourism organization. If you are passionate about what we do here, we would love to hear from you!

Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to)

• Supervising the day-to-day operation of our multi-faceted food and beverage department
• Overseeing daily ordering and inventory of food and alcohol
• Supervising quality control
• Maintaining company operational standards for food production and handling
• Maintaining company operational standards for alcohol handling
• Maintaining a professional relationship with our various suppliers
• Following company operational policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well being of guests and staff
• Following all cash management and cash out policies to ensure proper cash management practices are followed by the team
• Organizing opening and closing duties as determined
• Sourcing and costing new and exciting food and beverage products for our guests to experience
• Ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures
• Training, and supervising the performance of team members
• Supporting, and assisting with, Cross Training between Departments
• Other duties as required

Required Experience

• 2+ years restaurant/cafe supervisory experience
• Experience with alcohol sales
• Food Safe certification
• Serving It Right certification
• Weekend/Holiday work will be required
• High energy, enthusiastic team leader with a proven dedication to customer service
• Strong leadership, interpersonal and customer service skills
• Ability to motivate others
• Working knowledge of computers
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to direct the work of others
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing environments
• Team Player

Annual Salary Range: 62,000 – 72,000 (commensurate with experience)
