Food Runner

Belleville's is looking for Expos & Food Runners to join our team for the Spring season and onwards! We are a high-volume restaurant with a heavy focus on customer service and providing a fun, inclusive environment for guests and staff alike.

For this role, you should have strong communication, organization, and people skills. Our goal is to make sure our guests have a positive dining experience from the moment they arrive until their departure.

The Expo & Food Runner primary responsibilities are: assisting with restaurant opening/closing, organizing bills, garnishing & delivering food to tables, and maintaining the overall stock and cleanliness of the Expo station. They are an important point of communication between the kitchen and servers, and a key role for ensuring all food leaving the kitchen is presentable and high quality.

These roles are also trainable entry points into Serving and Bartending positions, for which we promote seasonally.

Requirements

• PM availability - We are open until 1am on Fridays & Saturdays, and 12am weekdays so you'll need to have a reliable commute home after these times.
• Good physical condition to walk and stand throughout your shift, as well as being able to carry products, dish bins, ice, etc.
• Works well in a team environment.

We are currently hiring for 1 Full-Time and 1 Part-Time position. For Full-Time, the schedule would be consistent week to week with guaranteed hours. For Part-Time we can be flexible with availability for the right candidate.

In addition to hourly income, the Expo/Food Runner receives tip pool, 50% staff discount and 25% discount for friends and family.

Salary: $18.00-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
