Restaurant Support Staff (Bussers, Hosts, Food Runners)

We are looking for some great people to join our Front of House team as Hosts, Bussers and Food Runners!

Located in the heart of Langford, Langford Lanes and City Centre Grille offers the biggest entertainment and social venue on the Island, and the biggest patio in the Westshore.

The Host is responsible to welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner as they enter the City Centre Grille and Patio 37, access dining needs and show guests to their seats. The Host will oversee restaurant activity to determine seating and dining flow, provide information to guests and help prevent liquor from leaving the licenced area.

Responsibilities:

• Welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner as they enter the City Centre Grille and Patio 37 as assigned.
• Determine dining needs, and show guests to their seats while overseeing dining flow.
• Inform servers of new tables as they are sat.
• Monitor occupancy limits and manage wait list.
• Manage reservations.
• Supervise entrance for outside liquor coming in and patrons leaving with liquor.
• Assist with clearing and bussing tables in between reservations and customer seatings
• Help the Servers and Bartenders with running food from the Grille kitchen to various areas of the business (Bowling Alley, City Centre Grille, Patio 37, Playzone) as needed

You:

• Experience is not necessary but a great attitude is non-negotiable
• A team player
• Guest experience focused
• Good availability including nights and weekends, week days for the right candidate
• Valid Serving It Right certificate (preferred)

Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week
