Hazukido Café Plus is seeking PART-TIME and FULL-TIME KITCHEN SUPPORT STAFF for our upscale casual concept bakery & restaurant.

We are an international brand who is proud of using only the finest ingredients to make the highest quality croissant. Located in one of Richmond’s most popular shopping complexes – Aberdeen Centre, we boast a modern, stylish bakery and a 60-seat dining room serving a yoshoku style menu.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize Back-of-House including work surfaces, floors, storage areas, staff washroom, appliances and equipment
• Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, flatware and cookware
• Remove compost, garbage and recyclables
• Maintain cleanliness standards throughout Back-of-House
• Assist with receiving and stocking inventory
• Assist chef and cooks as directed
• Maintain cleanliness standards throughout kitchen
• Ensure good lines of communication amongst department staff as well as management
• Perform other duties directed by management as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operation
• Follow company policies and procedures strictly

Qualifications

• Must hold valid SIN and be legally able to work in Canada
• Friendly disposition and teamwork oriented
• Able to work under pressure and strict timelines
• Previous knowledge and experience in commercial kitchen

Working Conditions

• Will be required to work a variety of shifts as needed (days, evenings, weekends and holidays)
• Will be required to stand on your feet for extended periods of time
• Will need to lift and move items weighing 25lbs regularly
• Will be required to work in a busy environment; constantly moving during busy periods
