Food Testing Supervisor- Qc

Job Duties

• Responsible for daily verification of paperwork on the floor being completed, adhered to and in line with time sensitivities during operations.
• Assist in performing Compliance Verification System tasks with the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA).
• Perform QC function for Shipping & Receiving.
• Monitoring of raw material shelf-life.
• Monitoring of allergens.
• Assist with reviews of the prerequisite program.
• Alternate as a QC Technician.
• Supervises QC Subordinates (daily monitoring during a shift in the working environment).
• Implements corrective action.
• Complete monthly and periodical evaluations for subordinates.
• Actively communicate procedural and system inadequacies and provide solutions.
• Implement and provide feedback on procedural and system changes.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $17.00-$23.25 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 72 per week
