SalaryThe Wood Automotive Group has an opportunity for a talented Journeyman Automotive Technician to take on the Woodridge Truck Shop Technician position to join our Woodridge Truck Shop team at Woodridge Ford Lincoln! The successful candidate will have a strong background in repairing Ford super duty, diesel and gas trucks. Specific experience in electrical diagnostics, drivability; A/C diagnostics, Ford specialty training in related skill group would also be an asset.
Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Complete repairs as per estimates completed in a timely fashion
- Road test vehicle after repairs are complete to ensure repairs are done properly
- Maintain high quality of workmanship to ensure customer satisfaction
- Maintain tools, equipment and shop
- Diagnose problems using proper procedures
- Clarify concerns with service advisor as required
- Recommend additional repairs as required
- Complete vehicle inspections (out-of-province and safety inspections)
Requirements:
- Journeyman (preferred)
- A current, clean driver's abstract
- A valid AB drivers license
