SalaryThe Wood Automotive Group has an opportunity for a talented Journeyman Automotive Technician to take on the Woodridge Truck Shop Technician position to join our Woodridge Truck Shop team at Woodridge Ford Lincoln! We offer an excellent working environment, benefits and top industry pay!
We have an influx of available working hours due to a surge in truck repair and maintenance business!
The successful candidate will have a strong background in repairing Ford super duty, diesel and gas trucks. Specific experience in electrical diagnostics, drivability; A/C diagnostics, Ford specialty training in related skill group would also be an asset.
Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Complete repairs as per estimates completed in a timely fashion
- Road test vehicle after repairs are complete to ensure repairs are done properly
- Maintain high quality of workmanship to ensure customer satisfaction
- Maintain tools, equipment and shop
- Diagnose problems using proper procedures
- Clarify concerns with service advisor as required
- Recommend additional repairs as required
- Complete vehicle inspections (out-of-province and safety inspections)
Requirements:
- Journeyman (preferred)
- A current, clean driver's abstract
- A valid AB drivers license
