Foreperson (Sewer and Watermain)

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team of workers, including equipment operators, pipe layers, and laborers, in the installation, repair, and maintenance of Sewer and Watermain systems.
- Plan and schedule work activities, allocate resources, and assign tasks to crew members, ensuring efficient workflow and timely project completion.
- Interpret project plans, blueprints, and specifications to guide the crew in executing the work accurately and in accordance with established standards.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure proper project coordination and adherence to project timelines.
- Monitor and enforce safety regulations and best practices, conducting regular safety meetings, and ensuring the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) on the job site.
- Maintain accurate records of work progress, material usage, and equipment maintenance.
- Provide guidance and training to crew members, promoting skill development and a culture of continuous improvement.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment, encouraging teamwork, communication, and professionalism among crew members.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Foreman or Supervisor in Sewer and Watermain construction.
- In-depth knowledge of Sewer and Watermain construction methods, materials, and equipment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications.
- Proficiency in using construction-related tools, equipment, and technology.
