Job Description:

As a Front Counter Sales Associate, you will play a key role as the first face of our bakery. This position involves working at our 3 bakery locations all within Etobicoke. Organization, attention to detail, a love for baked goods, and the ability to work efficiently are key aspects of this role.

Responsibilities and Duties:

· Greet and assist customers with a friendly and positive attitude

· Take and process customer orders accurately and efficiently

· Provide product information and recommendations to customers

· Handle cash and card transactions using our point-of-sale system

· Maintain a clean and organized Front Counter area

· Restock and replenish bakery products as needed

· Answer customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner

· Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure product availability and freshness

· Stay informed about our bakery offerings, promotions and seasonal items

· Uphold the bakery’s standards for excellent customer service

Qualifications:

· Previous experience in a customer service or retail role is preferred

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy

· Attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions

· Flexibility to work weekends, holidays and evenings

· Positive and team oriented attitude

· Enthusiasm for bakery products and a willingness to learn about our offerings

Schedule:

This is a full-time position with a flexible schedule.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From $16.55 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
