Kakwa Stone is a fast-paced Landscape Supply Company, supplying Grande Prairie and Area with a wide variety of products for all your landscape needs. We are looking for a person to work a seasonal position during the months of April – September, giving the winter to travel, spending time with family or a seasonal winter job. JOB DESCRIPTION
YOU are the person behind the front desk, in charge of organizing the day and making sure things run smoothly. Invoicing, quote building, and delivery scheduling are common everyday tasks.
You are detail oriented and sharp. You are in charge of the daily delivery schedules, stock levels, product displays and special-order items. You have the ability to apply common math formulas to figure out volumes on product, keeping your fingers on the pulse of company sales.
You care deeply about Customer Service. You are friendly, outgoing and positive, relaying this attribute when answering phones and dealing with customers and fellow staff. It is what drives your day.
A successful Candidate will have some of these qualifications:
- 2+ years’ Experience in a retail environment and front-end sales.
- Demonstrate a knowledge of Landscape and Masonry products or the ability to quickly learn products in a new industry.
- The ability to direct staff with dispatching, customer service, order fulfilment and delivery scheduling.
- Average Math skills including calculating volume formulas, weights and area.
- Strong aptitude for spoken/written communication, emails, phone/text and interpersonal communication.
- Proficient computer skills and knowledge of sales quotes, invoicing, A/P and A/R.
- Minimum Class 5 Clean Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Has the ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, walking and extended periods of time on your feet.
