Description
Pharos Business & Taxation Advisors is seeking a motivated individual for Front Desk/Admin assistant for a Permanent Full-time position.
Responsible for
-the answering, screening and transferring of inbound phone calls
-welcoming and directing visitors and clients
-general clerical duties including photocopying, fax and mailing
-maintaining and assisting in the electronic and hard copy filing system
-retrieving and filing of documents from filing system
-handling requests for information and data
-assisting in resolving administrative problems and inquiries
-the assistance with the preparation and modification of documents including correspondence, reports, drafts, memos and emails
-scheduling and coordination of meetings and appointments for staff member
-preparation of agendas for weekly meetings
-recording and compiling minutes of meetings
-opening, sorting and distributing of incoming correspondence
-the assistance with maintaining office supply inventories
-entering accounts payable invoices
-processing of payments from clients as well as accounts payable.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Computer knowledge, interpersonal/organizational & communication skills, work independently, time management, multi-tasking, professional demeanour, attention to detail and experience/knowledge of Sage, Excel, Word and Outlook.
