Located in beautiful Port Williams overlooking the tidal Cornwallis River, Wayfarers' Ale Ltd is an established craft brewery about to enter a new chapter. Under new management, Wayfarers' aims to become the premier destination for events, pints, and off-sales with an uncompromising focus on high quality craft beer.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a business looking to reinvent itself. The Wayfarers' new operating crew needs great people in all positions to be involved in the progressive change. You will be a member of a small collaborative team looking to make its mark on a maturing Nova Scotia craft beer landscape.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Front of House needs enthusiastic folks with a passion to deliver high quality service. We need people for retail on site, in the kitchen, and for service. Cross training will be provided in some cases. We are gearing up for a busy summer in the valley, and need mostly seasonal staff.
DUTIES:
Retail - Providing samples, talking about the beer, pouring growlers, getting people the good stuff to go.
Kitchen - Prepping, preparing, cleaning, and cooking up a delicious storm in a small tap room kitchen.
Service - Seating, serving, pouring, bussing, and giving folks the best experience during their well earned time off.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Craft beer knowledge is an asset. A willingness to become a beer geek would be cool too.
- Any relevant kitchen and service experience will be recognized and taken into consideration, but is not absolutely necessary. Training will be provided as required.
- An eager learner.
- Attention to detail.
- A desire for cleanliness.
- A laser-like focus on customer experience.
