Fuel Technician/ Labourer

Job Summary:

You are an experienced Fuel Technician with experience to support us on the BHP Headframe project located in Jansen Saskatchewan. You take pride in maintenance of production mining equipment to ensure safety and efficiency.
You will be flexible to assist with labour and other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

• Operate fuel trucks to safely service equipment as required
• Perform general labour tsks and other ad-hoc duties as required
• Conduct pre-trip/walk-around safety inspections and completes daily Field Level Hazard Assessments for all activities
• Complete equipment inspections, report repairs required and assist in scheduling these repairs
• Complete maintenance records and documentation as required
• Communicate effectively and professionally with other team members
• Be a leader of both safety and production for the team by ensuring compliance with all company, client, and legislated safety policies and procedures

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ year of experience as a Fuel Technician on equipment
• Must possess a valid driver's license and 3 yr drivers abstract
• Must have demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervision
• Must successfully complete pre-access drug and alcohol testing and criminal record check
• Must possess valid CSTS and WHMIS 2015

Work Conditions:

• Experienced applicants that reside in Leroy, SK or surrounding areas will be given preference due to the location of this project
• 14 days on / 7 days off rotational shift, 10 hour work days
• Private camp based accommodation provided for non-local candidates
• Travel allowance provided from approved locations
• Work will be primarily outdoors in various weather conditions
