Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of Full Time Bakery Clerk (Baker) at our Food Store in La Ronge, SK.

Reporting to the Bakery Team Leader, responsibilities for this position include the following:
Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operatives vision, mission, values, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach
Properly prepare products prior to baking, bake products to Co-op standards, package and label finished products, decorate and frost cakes and other baked goods, and maintain production records
Operate bakery ovens and execute maintenance of associated equipment, monitor case temperatures, and clean and sanitize workspaces and equipment according to schedule
Maintain and display all types of bakery products according to department standards
Measure and combine ingredients and use mixers, heat sources, and other equipment to make baked goods
Continually monitor code dates to ensure the freshest inventory on the shelf; follow First In, First Out
Engage and interact with guests to create a positive shopping experience
Record cake and bakery product special orders accurately
Be familiar with and adhere to sanitation, food safety, and personal hygiene legislation and policies
Perform other duties as assigned
