We are seeking a compassionate and professional Funeral Director or Funeral director‘s assistant to join our team. You will be responsible for assisting families in making funeral arrangements and providing support during their time of loss.
```Duties:```
- Assist with funeral arrangements and provide support
- Coordinate and oversee all aspects of the funeral service, including scheduling, staffing, and logistics
- Help with celebration of life events
- Assist with the selection of caskets, urns, and other funeral merchandise
- Assist with transportation of the deceased to the funeral home or cemetery (must be able to help lift)
- Coordinate with clergy, musicians, and other service providers to ensure a seamless funeral service
- Assist with paperwork and legal documentation related to the death and burial process
```Experience:```
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with grieving families.
- Ability to handle heavy lifting (caskets, equipment, etc.)
