SalaryOriginal Home Furniture in Guelph is now hiring a full time Furniture Delivery Person. We are a 76 year old company with a great team and dedicated to the betterment of our staff and our community. The position entails, inspecting, organizing and moving furniture in and out of customers homes. Other responsibilities include assembling furniture, stocking and maintaining both the warehouses and sales floor on a daily basis. You must be able to lift heavy items consistently through the day and have good people skills to deal with customers and existing staff. You must be able to take direction, work in a team environment. and be reliable as appointments must be kept. This position is full time from Tuesday to Saturday. There is room for advancement based on prior experience and performance. If you are over the age of 25 and able to be insured to drive a delivery cube van then a raise in wage will be considered. Please keep in mind that some of the furniture is very heavy so you must be able to lift and move heavy items!

Expected hours: 37 – 42 per week
