Duties
- Responsible for taking care of the various plants, flowers, and shrubs that are present on the grounds.
- Plant, cultivate, fertilize, and prune numerous varieties of plants, flowers, shrubs, bushes, and trees.
- Ensure projects are completed within specified time and notify supervisor if difficulties arise.
- Operate and maintain gardening equipment and tools.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Physically fit – able to lift 40+ pounds multiple times during the day.
- Ability to communicate in a professional and courteous manner with clients, team members and the public.
- Ability to be on your feet for 8+ hours a day.
- Non smoker as all properties where work will be performed are no smoking.
- Ability to follow a set schedule.
- Valid class 5 BC Driver’s License
