Gas Technician G2

The Lucknow District Co-operative Inc has an opening for an Energy Service Technician. This is a full-time position with benefits.

Summary

Under the direction of the Energy Manager, the Energy Service Technician will be responsible for propane tank installations, inspections and equipment service for our Customers.

Main Responsibilities

· Completes propane tank site installations and inspections to ensure safe operation of equipment.

· Conducts tank equipment service as required.

· Completes customer site visits and quoting for upcoming installations or service work.

· Follows TSSA propane regulations and keeps up to date on changes.

Education and Experience

• Requires a High School education or the equivalent thereof.

· Must have and maintain a valid Ontario driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record, DZ or higher is an asset. Must be insurable by the company’s insurance provider without restrictions or surcharge.

· Must hold and maintain a Gas Fitter 2 license in Ontario through TSSA.

· Willingness to train and work towards PM3 certificate to complete fuel tank installations, inspections and equipment repairs.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
