General Accountant
We are looking for an experienced General Accountant to support full cycle bookkeeping for a block of company entities. Working in a multi-currency, multi-entity environment, a successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in a high volume environment. You must possess a high level of expertise in Excel and Accounting Systems
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Enter bank journal entries & prepare bank reconciliations
- Prepare & post sales & month end journal entries
- Review month end reports for variances & accuracy
- Reconcile Balance Sheet Accounts
- Reconcile Inventory
- Oversee Accounts payable process
- Review vendor statements and respond to queries related to AP in a timely manner
- Assisting with internal and external audit requests
- Administration tasks assigned
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary degree in finance, commerce or accounting
- Minimum 2 years relevant bookkeeping experience
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral
- Excellent working knowledge of excel
- International professional degree can be considered
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
