- Prepare supporting schedules, analysis, and disclosures to support the consolidated financial statements.
- Correspond and coordinate with multiple divisional accounting teams and other corporate departments for the preparation of consolidation entries, intercompany reconciliations, and financial statements.
- Perform various account reconciliations, continuity schedules and other supporting schedules for management and the external auditors.
- Respond to ad hoc requests from various stakeholders.
- Post-secondary education in Accounting or Finance;
- Professional accounting designation (CPA) or working towards is an asset;
- A minimum of 3 years of progressive work experience in accounting;
- Demonstrated knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards including the application of analysis and accounting standards;
- Experience with financial and consolidation systems (e.g. SAP 4 S/4Hana considered an asset) and Microsoft Office, specifically Excel;
- Excellent professional judgement, analytical capabilities and organizational skills;
- Adaptive to change and able to work under strict time constraints in a complex and dynamic environment;
- Ability to grasp new technology and tools;
- Public company experience is an asset;
- Extraordinary team player and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high growth environment where quality, innovation, speed of decision making, and execution are critical to organizational success;
- High capacity; able to juggle a large workload with many ongoing projects;
- Tolerance for stress, ambiguity and the innate ability to navigate through challenging and complex situations;
